New Brunswick Minimum Wage Increase 2024. New brunswick’s minimum wage rose to $15.30 per hour monday, despite calls from advocates for the province to increase the amount to at least $20 per hour. Last year, the province’s minimum wage went up a dollar from $13.75 per hour.
Holder said the 2022 increases in new brunswick are expected to affect 15,500 minimum wage earners and 30,000 others who make more than the current minimum wage,. The growth in new brunswick’s median wage outpaced the national average in 2023, increasing by 6.8 per cent compared to the national figure of 6.5 per cent.
